AUGUST 3, 2025 - - - The Mars Racing team invaded the legendary Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin from July 31-August 2 for the 38th edition of the ‘USA Nationals.’ In the trio of local Late Model programs held over the extended weekend, Sammy Mars was able to put his #28 machine into two of the three feature events. While he missed out on Friday’s $2,500 to win headliner, Sammy ran fourth on Thursday night behind only Pat Doar, Darrell Nelson, and Ryan Corbett and ninth in Saturday’s finale after driving past ten competitors.
In World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series competition over the weekend, Sammy vied for the $10,000 top prize in Thursday evening’s opener and the $100,000 winner’s check in the ‘USA Nationals.’ Sammy ran ninth in his heat race and seventeenth in his B-Main on Thursday, while he placed eighth in his stacked heat race on Friday and eleventh in his B-Main on Saturday. Unfortunately, the Menomonie, Wisconsin ace was unable to transfer into the Super Late Model main events.
