MAY 4, 2025 - - - The condensed 'Dairyland Showdown' took place on May 2-3 at Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wisconsin. With Mother Nature taking the victory on Thursday night, a $25,000 top prize was up for grabs on Friday evening to kick off the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series doubleheader. Sammy Mars ran fifth in his stacked heat race prior to grabbing the second transfer spot through his B-Main. After starting the 50-lap feature from the outside of the tenth row, Sammy wound up twenty-first in the final finishing order.
In Saturday's grand finale, which boasted a $30,000 paycheck, Sammy started off his evening by laying down the seventh quickest lap in Group B during qualifying. Unfortunately, the Menomonie, Wisconsin ace was not able to advance into the 50-lapper after finishing sixth in his heat race and seventh in his B-Main.
