SEPTEMBER 8, 2024 - - - Sammy Mars and the #28 team made their way to River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota from September 5-7 for the annual running of the ‘John Seitz Memorial.’ In Thursday’s opener, which was sanctioned by the NLRA tour and boasted a $2,404 top prize, Sammy won his heat race in preliminary action before advancing to fourth in the 30-lapper to trail only victor Dustin Strand, Mike Greseth, and Aaron Turnbull!
On Friday night at River Cities, Sammy blasted past four competitors to nab the third transfer spot into Saturday’s 92-lap ‘John Seitz Memorial.’ After starting the $9,200 to win headliner from the inside of the seventh row, Sammy fought hard for a potential top ten showing before ultimately landing in the eleventh finishing position.
