JUNE 1, 2025 - - - The Mars Racing team invaded both Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin and Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin over the May 30-31 weekend. In a weekly Late Model show in Superior on Friday night, Sammy Mars was making his way forward in the heat race when he was turned hard into the wall by another competitor. The Menomonie, Wisconsin ace was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program due to heavy front end damage on his MB Customs mount.
After a long day of work to replace the damage, the #28 team returned to action on Saturday evening at Cedar Lake Speedway. Sammy improved four spots to finish in the second position and later rolled off from the outside of the second row in the 25-lapper. With a $1,500 payday up for grabs, Sammy came home fifth at the checkers behind only victor Adam Hensel, Nick Panitzke, Ashley Anderson, and Darrell Nelson.
