JULY 12, 2026 - - - After taking the Independence Day holiday off from racing action, the #28 team returned to dirt-slinging action on July 10-11 in the states of Wisconsin and Minnesota. On Friday night at the nearby Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin, Sam Mars started and finished fourth in his heat race prior to rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the $1,000 to win weekly feature event. Sam then drove by a trio of racecars during the 20-lap affair to land in the ninth finishing position.
The action quickly shifted to Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota on Saturday evening for another $1,000 to win weekly program. Sam moved forward to finish third in his heat race and later started the 25-lapper from the pole position. He then led a few laps during the A-Main before making a mistake racing for the second spot.
