JUNE 2, 2024 - - - Following a rare weekend off, Sammy Mars and the #28 team returned to dirt-slinging action on Saturday night, June 1. The renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin held a weekly Late Model program and a $1,500 winner’s check was up for grabs.
Sammy started third in his heat race before finishing in the second spot. The Menomonie, Wisconsin youngster then rolled off from the outside of the fifth row in the 25-lap main event and immediately pointed his MB Customs mount towards the front of the field. Sammy ultimately picked off eight competitors during the contest to land in the runner-up position behind only race winner Pat Doar!
