APRIL 20, 2025 - - - Following a rain-out of the $1,500 to win ‘Legendary’ opener on Friday night, the Mars Racing team was back in the pit area at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin on Saturday evening, April 19. The Late Models raced for an $1,800 paycheck last night in the ‘Legendary’ grand finale. Sammy Mars toured the 3/8-mile oval fifth quickest overall during the qualifying session and later started the 25-lap feature from the inside of the third row.
Sammy then enjoyed a great race up front and ultimately landed on the podium at the unfurling of the checkered flag. The young Menomonie, Wisconsin ace was in third and trailed only victor James Giossi and runner-up Nick Panitzke!
