MAY 31, 2026 - - - Following a rare weekend off to celebrate Memorial Day, Mars Racing competed in a pair of weekly Late Model events in their home state on May 29-30. At Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin on Friday, Sam Mars won his heat race prior to finishing ninth in the final rundown of the $1,000 to win main event.
On Saturday at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin with a $1,500 payday up for grabs, Sam started and finished seventh in his heat race before blasting past fourteen competitors during the 25-lapper to finish fifth at the checkers behind only victor James Giossi, Ashley Anderson, Pat Doar, and A.J.
