APRIL 14, 2024 - - - The Mars Racing team found themselves back in victory lane on Friday night, April 12 at the nearby Red Cedar Speedway! Sammy Mars won his heat race from the seventh starting spot and later rolled off from the outside of the front row in the 20-lap weekly Late Model feature event. Sammy then came out on top of the A-Main to pocket the $1,000 top prize for his first career Late Model win at his hometown track over runner-up Chad Mahder, Nick Panitzke, Tyler Peterson, and John Kaanta!
On Saturday evening, April 13, the dirt-slinging action quickly shifted to Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin for a $1,500 to win Late Model showdown. Sammy charged past four competitors during his heat race to finish in the third position and later started the 25-lapper from the outside of the fourth row. He then picked off four more racecars during the main event en route to a strong fourth place performance behind only victor Nick Panitzke, Greg Nippoldt, and Tyler Peterson.
