AUGUST 11, 2024 - - - The Mars Racing team, fresh off a busy USA Nationals weekend, hit the road with the XR Northern Storm tour for six straight nights of racing at six different venues from August 5-10. With Mother Nature capturing the victory at both Princeton (MN) Speedway and Hibbing (MN) Raceway, Sammy Mars competed in four special events during the hectic week.
His best effort came on Thursday night at Proctor Speedway in Proctor, Minnesota, as Sammy ran second in his heat race prior to placing fourth in the 40-lap headliner behind only $2,500 victor Tyler Peterson, Cole Searing, and Jeff Massingill. In other action, Sammy finished tenth on Tuesday at Ogilvie Raceway in Ogilvie, Minnesota, ninth on Friday at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wisconsin, and sixth in the $20,444 to win miniseries finale on Saturday at ABC Raceway in Ashland, Wisconsin.
