MAY 19, 2024 - - - After a disappointing night on Friday at Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin, Sammy Mars turned things around in a big way on Saturday evening, May 18 at the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin! Sammy picked off a trio of competitors during heat race action to finish in the second spot and later rolled off from the inside of the second row in the 25-lap weekly main event. He then led the final six circuits of the A-Main to collect the $1,500 first place prize over runner-up Lance Hofer, Pat Doar, John Kaanta, and Ashley Anderson!
On Friday night at Red Cedar, Sammy blasted past five racecars during his heat race to land in the second position prior to starting the weekly Late Model feature from the outside of the fourth row. Unfortunately, Sammy did not finish the 20-lapper and was ultimately paid for an eleventh place performance at his hometown venue.
