SEPTEMBER 22, 2024 - - - The #28 team made the short trek to Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, Wisconsin on September 20-21 for the 44th Annual ‘Punky Manor Challenge of Champions.’ On Friday night during preliminary action, Sammy Mars went fourth quickest in his group during qualifying prior to securing a victory in his heat race. Sammy then closed out the evening by placing sixth in the dash.
After starting Saturday’s 40-lap headliner from the outside of the third row, Sammy wound up finishing right where he started… in the sixth position. His MB Customs mount trailed only $5,107 victor Chad Mahder, Dave Flynn, Ashley Anderson, Jake Redetzke, and Jesse Glenz!
